| Intermediate level
dancers are taught and socialise in one
hall while a beginners class often takes
place in a hall below with a milonga
afterwards that goes on till late. Occasionally
other teachers come to town from
Argentina, Germany, Holland, London,
Sweden, or the USA. Some just give the
Tuesday lesson; others give workshops or
even whole courses over several weeks on
several nights of the week and weekends.
There
are also other milongas on two Saturdays,
a Sunday, and most Thursdays each month,
a practica on Fridays, and four all-night
milongas each year.
Small
wonder Cambridge is reputed to have the
strongest UK Tango scene outside London.
